To see last week's recap click here.

This week's episodes of TGIT were great!  There was a some adult things happening this week as well as the normal dose of drama, plus the extra person getting thrown under the bus!  Yeah, it was a great week!  Here's your weekly recap...

Baby issues?
Grey's Anatomy

I Choose You
This episode mainly focused on Alex and a case with two newborn twins that are dying from tumors.  The Challenge: He can only choose one to get a liver transplant from the father, who was a match.  Amongst this is new drama with Jo, who found an old record or receipt or something that involved the embryos he froze with Izzie.  This led to a whole conversation about their future and they ended up working it out.
Other important things:

  • Maggie was invited to her ex boyfriend's wedding, which was not cool, but then she makes out with the new guy, Andrew so it all ends up okay!  ;)
  • Meredith is being told she's not getting paid enough for her new job, so she finally just goes to Bailey and asks for a raise, so she is proud of her
  • Jackson kept trying to get April out of his apartment, but since she wouldn't leave, he left (to Bailey's house)

"Watch me choose you!"

Paris Is Burning
The moment we've waited FIVE SEASONS for finally happened: Olitz has gone public!  This leads to massive negotiations in the White House between Ftiz and Mellie because they need to do an interview together, proving that they're stronger than ever.  Abby and Cyrus are the messengers for both sides respectively. Long story short, they come to an agreement but Mellie drops out at the last minute.  The White House has to go to its last resort by throwing Olivia on the bus!
Other important things:

  • Cyrus makes a big speech to Ftiz about how he should get his job back and they can finish out what they started.  Fitz's response: "you don't work here anymore"
  • This is what influences Cyrus to play Mellie and convincing her to drop out of the interview
  • Olivia sees Mellie in her gigantic closet and she has a beautiful monologue about giving up everything to be First Lady and how her hooch is the only thing that makes her feel alive instead of numb.
  • Back at OPA, Jake, Quinn, and Huck have a drinking party because they assume it's the end for them
  • At the end of the episode, Quinn points out that the Louvre is on fire, but the biggest story is still the Olitz scandal
  • This prompts Jake to go talk to Papa Pope in prison and he ends the episode with one of his sophisticated coded references to old literature or something, so we're confused now because now we don't know who's behind all of this!

As if it wasn't already too much...
How to Get Away with Murder

It's Called the Octopus
This episode focuses a lot on adult things, but in the overall story, it really was about Nate.  He ends up getting his job back as a police officer, but the really interesting thing is that he's now involved with the night that happens seven weeks from now.  He calls Annalise, but she never answers. At the end of the episode we see him getting the (now escaped) Keating 4 in his police car.
Other important things:

  • The maid for the Hapstalls leaks photos of them that makes it appear as if they are incestuous, which we've come to find out is true!
  • Wes discovers the guy that Michaela is currently seeing (Levi) is EGGS 911!  What's even more shocking is that it's Rebecca's brother!
    • Where did the "Eggs" in "EGGS 911"come from? It was Rebecca's nickname after she dropped a carton of eggs
  • Asher is being blackmailed by Emily Sinclair into getting information from Annalise on the Hapstall case
    • The Dirt: There's something to do with a girl named Tiffany at a place called Trotter Lake
  • Connor is all ready to do adult things with Oliver so they're happy again, but the biggest accomplishment for Connor was that he never did adult things with anyone before then!

#TGIT Recap Season 2 ~ Week 2

Displaying 2D1B4584-A0AC-4FFD-ADDA-DE77AB5F243D.JPG
To see last week's recap click here.

TGIT was amazing this week!  So many big things happened: New Chief of Surgeries, Affairs going public, and attempted murders grow into something more!  Here's your recap of last week's amazing episodes!

Chief Miranda Bailey: Day 1
Grey's Anatomy
Displaying IMG_2066.JPG
Walking Tall
It's official!  Dr. Miranda Bailey is Chief of Surgery at the hospital!  In an effort to make it the most perfect first day ever, she fails miserably.  By the end of the day, she has a heart-to-heart with Richard, who gives her advice on making the next day better.  The Nazi cannot rule the hospital and make it successful.
Other Important Things:

  • April has a rash on her back, so she's contained in the bubble for the duration of the episode
    • She talks to Jackson and says she's willing to fight for their marriage
  • Amelia tries to figure out her relationship status with Owen and goes to talk to April
  • Richard has a hard time with Bailey not coming to him looking for advice, so he goes to talk to April
  • Callie is flaunting her new relationship, which bothers Arizona, who talks to April about it
  • Bailey dumps all of her old responsibilities on Meredith, who has Edwards help her do it all
    • Bailey tells her it's because she's promoting her to Chief of General Surgery!
  • In their heart-to-heart, Richard gives Bailey the stethoscope he received on his first day of residency

"Olivia Pope! Are you the President's mistress?"...
Scandal
Displaying IMG_2067.JPG
Yes
There really isn't much that actually happened in this episode because it mainly focused around fixing the allegations of the Olitz affair and Olivia hiding from the press.  In the end, after everything was settled, she told the same group of reporters crowding her apartment from the season two finale (that moment still gives me goosebumps when I watch it!) that she was indeed the President's mistress!
Other Important Things:

  • It was Liz who leaked the photos to Sally Langston!
    • Abby uses that to blackmail her way into an equal partnership between the two
  • Abby goes to Cyrus looking for advice to fix the situation at the White House
    • As a result, she's got power and Mellie is back in the picture
  •   Quinn doesn't believe that Jake has fixed Huck, who is trying his best to work out his problems
  • Before Olivia got out of the car at the end of the episode, she listened to a voice message from Fitz, telling her he and Mellie were going to deny the affair

The story progresses...
How to Get Away with Murder
Displaying IMG_2068.JPG
She's Dying
We start the episode where we ended last week: Wes running from the mansion where Annalise was shot.  The narrative changed a little bit though because he runs to Michaela and Laurel.  Where's Connor? He's with Annalise... applying pressure to her wounds!
Other Important Things:

  • After a questionable preliminary hearing, Nate is free from his charges
  • The rich Hapstall siblings lied about the brother's whereabouts on the night of their aunt's murder and Annalise ripped them for it
  • Annalise's lesbian lover chick left after a night of doing adult things
    • Nate sees them kissing on Annalise's front porch (from his car because he be creepin'!)
  • Oliver got HIV after Connor cheated on him (he wanted to get him back)
    • Connor feels guilty about it because he's the one who put him in that position
  • At the courthouse, Michaela and Connor run into a guy that Connor tells her to go for, which she does later on in the episode
    • It's pretty safe to assume he is Eggs 911
  • The annoying lawyer chick on the accusing side of Nate's case is taking on the opposing side of the Hapstall case
    • At the end of the episode, we find out that, two months later, she's dead on the ground in front of the mansion

#TGIT Recap Season 2 ~ Week 1

Displaying 2D1B4584-A0AC-4FFD-ADDA-DE77AB5F243D.JPG
To see last week's recap click here.

Shondaland's Thursday lineup has come back full force, and it's only gaining speed from here!  Here's the recap for this week just in case you missed it (which is an OMG moment itself) or just need to remember what happened.

Life is Good Again!
Grey's Anatomy
Displaying IMG_2066.JPG
Sledgehammer
Grey's Anatomy without Derek is extremely weird, which is to be expected.  However, life goes on, and everyone has to keep going.  Meredith wakes up to a bunch of banging downstairs which turns out to be Amelia busting the wall open!  Why would she do that? Because Meredith was joking about it the night before whilst she was drunk.  This leads to the two complaining to Maggie the whole time about the other and she finally makes them talk to each other at the end of the episode.
Other Important Things:
  • Bailey was intimidated by the other candidate for Chief of Surgery, but she ended up fighting for the position and now it's hers!
  • April comes back and wants to talk to Jackson, but he in't in the mood to talk, so they're still working things out
  • On the bright side, Jo and Alex have their little studio apartment and things are going well, even if Alex talks about his depressing experiences of being a bullied fat kid
  • Arizona is looking for a new roommate, but nobody has picked her up on her offer (she was so desperate that she actually tore one of the things off her flyer!) until one of the new guys at the hospital asks about it
  • Callie gets a little too involved with the big case of the week, involving two teenage girls who jump in front of a train because they can't be together (Maggie ended up punching the mother of one of the victims in the face though, and it was awesome!)

They're Exposed... Finally!
Scandal
Displaying IMG_2067.JPG
Heavy is the Head
This episode followed the case of Princess Emily, who was a normal Iowa girl until she married her prince.  She has lived a life in the spotlight ever since and there was a lot of parallels between her relationship and Olitz (if they were to be exposed).  By the end of the episode, Olivia tells Fitz what she learned from this case, that they won't be able to make it in the public eye if they don't fix their issues first.  What happens right after this beautifully well written and executed monologue?  Everyone's favorite character Sally Langston has incriminating pictures exposing their relationship.  The big question now is, now that they're out to the public, will they be able to make their relationship work this time around?
Other Important Things:
  • Huck asks Olivia to fix him but she tells him that she doesn't know how to, so he goes to Jake
  • Fitz gave Mellie divorce papers!
  • On a better note, Mellie is sworn in as Senator of Virginia
  • Lizzie Bear has officially become Elizabeth North, Chief of Staff, which makes Abby nervous because she is waiting to be fired and Liz doesn't act the same way as Cyrus
  • If you thought Liz and Mellie were ever going to work together again, you're 100% wrong
  • Wondering where Quinn is?  She's still at OPA and told Huck not to come back until he tells Olivia what he did and fixes his problems
  • In case you were wondering, the Queen had the Princess assassinated because she was cheating on the Prince (with her bodyguard) and got pregnant

As if it wasn't already too much...

It's Time to Move On
If you had any doubts about whether this season would be good or not, they should've gone away after last night! Just remember that, statistically, you're going to be murdered by someone you know!
The case of the week follow two siblings who are accused of murdering their filthy rich parents.  Annalise earns her way to being their lawyer by tricking the other lawyer into presenting false evindence in the trial.  In the end of the episode, we flash forward two months at their house in the middle of the night.  There's a gunshot, then someone runs out, and it's Wes!  We go back to inside the house and see Annalise bleeding out on the floor, but she's still alive!  But the big question is if he did shoot her, why did he do it!?
Other Important Things:
  • Frank took care of Rebecca's dead body and he tries to prove Wes did it, but
  • Bonnie was the one who killed Rebecca (by suffocation) because she didn't trust her
  • Everyone thinks Rebecca ran away until Laurel figures it out because she's awesome like that!
  • Annalise's ex girlfriend, Eve (who she left for Sam), comes for a visit because she's the lawyer Annalise told Nate to call at the end of last season.  She originally is against it, but ends up going for it in the end.
  • Michaela texted Eggs 911 on her phone at at the end of the episode, while she's clubbin' with the rest of the Keating Crew, she gets a reply, but doesn't see it.

#TGIT Recap ~ Season 2 Premiere

Displaying 2D1B4584-A0AC-4FFD-ADDA-DE77AB5F243D.JPG

Calling all Shondaland b**** babies!  #TGIT is back, which means that we will be getting all of the feels that we've been missing for what feels like forever now!  This also means that the #TGIT Recap on The Sarcastic Palmtree have also returned!  Today, we've got trailers for the new season and of course a quick recap of what happened when we left off!

First, the legendary...
Grey's Anatomy
Displaying IMG_2018.PNG

Last season was so good, but it came at a very dark cost.  Derek is dead, which should make this season the most interesting because we've never known the show without him.
Important things to remember:
  • Richard and Catherine work things out and get married
  • Jackson tells April that if she leaves, he won't be there when she returns, she breaks down with Arizona comforting her after the wedding
  • Miranda Bailey is the new Chief of Surgery, at least according to her, but she still has to go against another candidate
  • Maggie's parents are getting a divorce and she's devastated, but the good news is that she tells Meredith, who tells her that she can help with anything
  • Jo buys Alex a home for them to move in to and tells him to sell Meredith her house back
  • Also, remember it's been about a year since Derek died and Meredith has another kid

Is this happening right now?
Scandal
Displaying IMG_2007.PNG

It's official!  Olivia and Fitz are together!  It only took until season 5 to get them together and we can't wait to see where this goes.
Other important things:
  • Jake claims his mission is over, so we don't know what's happening with him now
  • Mellie is now Senator of Virginia, at the cost of 10 juror's lives
  • Mellie and Cyrus both get kicked out of the White House!!!!
  • Lizzie Bear is now Fitz's Chief of Staff
  • Papa Pope is in jail and Mama Pope is out
  • B613 is now officially off the record
  • Huck's life is currently hanging in the balance and it's all up to Quinn if he lives

As if it wasn't already too much...
How to Get Away with Murder
Displaying IMG_2008.PNG

It's been almost seven months since the finale of the jaw-dropping first season of How to Get Away with Murder!  I think you can agree with me when I saw that is way too long!  The big question that was left for us at the end of the first season, which helped Viola Davis become the first African American woman to receive an Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series, is "who killed Rebecca?" and we want to know!  My basic theory is that whoever she texted "Eggs 911" to is at least involved, if not the murderer.
Other important things to remember:
  • Nate is out of jail, and he called the lawyer Annalise recommended
  • Sam hired Frank to kill Lila because "he owed him one"
  • Laurel had Michaela's engagement ring this whole time
  • Michaela is not getting married and she's got another side that we haven't seen before
  • Oliver has HIV and Connor doesn't
  • Bonnie and Asher are still together but haven't told Annalise yet
  • Annalise and Wes have decided to believe Sam killed Lila
  • Frank and Annalise are the only ones that know Rebecca is dead

#TGIT Recap Week 12

To see last week's post click here.
Shondaland's Thursday Night Lineup continues.  Sadly, we've been snowed in this week and as a result, I've only been able to do Scandal's recap again.  Sorry, but I live with people who can't watch these shows and if you know me, you know I always try to make the time for Scandal, so once again, it's the only one I have a full recap for.  Just like last week, you will not be left stranded!  The highlights will be posted as well as the link to the official ABC recap!  This #TGIT Recap starts in 3... 2... 1...

The night we thought we were waiting for...
Grey's Anatomy
Jackson and April have their baby, Samuel Norbert Avery, after a lot of drama brought on by April.  Can't blame her though, any mother would hope for a miracle at this point.  Amelia and Stephanie work on a patient, practicing a technique they'll use for Herman's surgery.  It works so well that they guy actually got his sight back, even though everyone was sure he wouldn't.  Meredith is trying to find someone to cover her on-call shift and take care of her kids while she goes to surprise Derek in D.C.  Her sister Maggie steps up to take care of the kids, because apparently she just loves kids, and Richard ended up taking over her shift even though he originally didn't because he wanted to be their for Catherine.  Amelia gets everyone the hospital to light a candle in the chapel and is happy when she sees them at the end of the day.  She tells Owen about her baby when he sits down next to her.

Viewer Discretion is Advised!
Scandal
Gladiators Don't Run

Okay, so I don't know about the rest of you guys out there, but I get a little too excited when they say that viewer discretion is advised.  What can I say?  That means there's a good chance we're going to see Huck do what he does best!  I LOVE IT!  Now on to the recap!...

Abby sits in the park in front of the White House with two coffee cups, but nobody shows up.  She returns to her office and tries to call Olivia for the ten billionth time.  She goes to Olivia's apartment and sees the wine glass and the stain.  She then goes to OPA because of course Huck and Quinn know!  Huck says that she's not a gladiator anymore, so she can't know.  She leaves and he tells Quinn that they can't trust the White House.

Cyrus brings in a couple of documents: 1. An executive order terminating the entire secret service staff 2. An executive order that says the navy seals protect the White House instead 3. The Vice President's letter of resignation.  Fitz says he wants to get in on Olivia's auction, so that's exactly what happens.
Creepy Guy #2 is questioning everything that's happening, "it's not the plan".  Guess what everybody!  He finally has a name!  It's Gus!  Andrew calls Ian and is asking about how "his project" is going and Ian tells him that he's making the a new deal... with the highest bidder.
The rules of the Dark Net are simple... You have to be invited, but you need "terrorist street cred" and a crap ton of money in order to be invited. Jake, Huck, and Quinn decide to pull their money together to get in the bidding themselves.  Huck has $2,000,400,087.38 that would be 2 billion 400 thousand 87 dollars and 38 cents.  Where did he get all of that money? He routed the B613 money to his account when he shut it down!

Ian asks Olivia how much she thinks she'll go for.  She thinks about 1.5 billion.  He promises her that she can choose whichever bidder she wants, in order to stay away from the creeps.  With one second to go before the auction begins, they shake hands as Gus shoots Ian from behind and kills him!

Huck can't find the auction site!  Meanwhile, wherever they are, Gus cleans the blood off Olivia's face.  At OPA, they decide to pick an all star international terrorist to help them get invited... Mama Pope!
While Maya is trying to make a deal, David shoots everything down.  Quinn suggests a TV and it's a deal. Maya starts telling Huck what to do and it leads to the malicious deaths of a few guys as payment to get into the auction.  Jake goes in to check on Huck since he's been in there for too long and sees the devastating excitement that Huck has caused and tells him to clean up while Jake cuts off the heads of the dead for proof.
Back at the White House, Andrew doesn't accept his resignation and threatens to expose Fitz for going to war with Olivia.  When Cyrus tell Fitz, he  suggests that they try to prove that the assassination attempt was staged.  Cyrus pays a visit to Lizzy Bear while she's shredding a bunch of files, skipping town.  He gets her to agree to testify against him.  Andrew pulls Mellie aside and tells him that if they come for him he will expose their affair.

Olivia tries to convince the two guys running to auction to turn on Gus in return for protection.  They decide to stick with the current plan.  Abby asks Fitz of something's wrong with Olivia.  She storms into David's office mad that he didn't tell her.  She tells him that he has to tell her when her only friend is kidnapped because she's not in the loop anymore.  He tells her that Olivia's not her only friend.
Mellie tells Fitz that Andrew will expose her and ruin her reputation so he can't leave.  She asks him what he wants more than anything in the world.  He responds with Jerry.  She asks for something more realistic and he says he wants Olivia home.  He asks her and she says that she wants to become President of the United States.  Because of this, Fitz decides to let Andrew walk.
Back at OPA, Quinn and Jake talk in Harrison's office.  Quinn also mentions that it was Stephen's office, so she thinks that it's full of ghosts. Jake is worried, but Quinn says that he will be fine once Olivia is back. Huck comes by and says that the password worked and that he's in.  Once they're in and about to bid, the auction is suspended.  Cyrus brings in a red folder and wakes Fitz up so he can go to the Situation Room.  Gus wakes Olivia up and tells her that, because they're paying cash, she has been sold to Iran!  In the Situation Room, Fitz decides to keep going with an extraction plan instead of neutralization.  Cyrus talks to him after and Fitz tells him about Mellie meeting each of the dead soldiers that return.  They have to get Olivia back because these soldiers died because he tried to get her back.  At OPA, they try to figure out which country has her.  Huck says that they will use her as a tool to control  and goes into explicit detail, saying that she's dead and Quinn flips out on him.

Olivia is taken out of a truck with a bag over her head as she is about to be given to her buyer.  The bag is removed and the buyer comes to meet them.  The promo for this week suggests that we don't know who really bought Olivia Pope, so maybe it's not really Iran after all.  One thing is for sure, we will find out tonight!  Don't miss it!

They found a ring!
How to Get Away with Murder

She's A Murderer
Hannah makes it her mission to put Annalise in jail for murdering her brother.  She even testifies against Annalise to help get a search warrant .  It's spotless, of course. The funny things is that she didn't do it, she just helped cover it up.  Bonnie figures it out after the police search the house, so now she is in cahoots with everybody else.  Connor and Michaela are doubting Annalise's ability to help them get away with murder, and she promises them that she will help them.  She tells Connor that she sees herself in him, so she gets why he'll never fully trust her.  The police trace Sam's remains to the woods where he was burned and Michaela freaks out because her ring was lost there.  The police find the ring, Sam's ring, which Annalise had Frank place with Nate's fingerprint on it.  That's right, she framed him!  She makes a call to her mom and breaks down.

There you have it!  Don't miss TGIT tonight starting at 8/7c on ABC!

#TGIT Recap Week 11

To see last week's post click here.
Last week was a really good week, but we just didn't have the time to put together a post for you guys until now!  We're very sorry, but life happens, so the only recap we have for you tonight is Scandal's.  For Grey's Anatomy and How to Get Away with Murder we will give you the very most important details for you to remember for the night ahead as well as a link to the official summary from abc.comThis #TGIT Recap starts in 3... 2... 1...

#TearsofGreys

Grey's Anatomy

The Bed's Too Big Without You
So, the most important thing to remember for tonight is that we will finally get to know what's happening with the Japril baby.  Remember Jackson had a big fight with April's mom about what happens to the baby and she lost it on both of them?  Great moment!  Herman will teach a whole bulletin board of surgeries to Arizona before she goes into surgery (and she has a whole deck of index cards for afterward, if Amelia can succeed).  Meredith used her 3D printer in order to get a more hands-on approach on the tumor she was treating.  She also has started to become friends with half-sister Maggie.  Oh, and Meredith tried to teach Alex the whole "pause" thing if she texts him while he's busy at night, and he didn't really agree to that, so she taught Jo instead.

Scandal

Where's the Black Lady?
The secret service walks into the Oval Office.  They're on the VP's side!  They're all "Fitz's support group", trying to make sure he can't look for Olivia Pope.  Fitz walks into Cyrus's office and asks him to gather the joint chiefs the first thing in the morning.  Mellie tells Fitz that she started sleeping with Andrew again.  She didn't want them to hide anything from each other.  Fitz calls Andrew and asks for proof of life.
Olivia starts filming her hostage video, she stops in the middle and asks for some water.  Ian gives her some water and she drinks it.
"My name is Olivia Pope, and this is a copy of today's Clarion International.  I have been been taken against my will.  I have been offered food and water.  I have not been tortured or abused in any way.  To insure my continued safety, you must declare war on the nation of West Angola.  Do this within the next 48 hours and no harm will come to me. Refuse and I will be killed!"
Lizzy Bear says goodnight to her little daughter and is ambushed by Huck when she closes the door. He wants to know where Olivia is.  She says she doesn't know but she'll find out.  She talks to Andrew the next day, he tells her to get with the program and go along with it.  Fitz meets with the joint chiefs and David brings up the pardon petition for Tom Larson.  Fitz takes advantage of this and goes to talk to him.  He wants to know who he can trust in the White House.  He says he can trust no one and that there's only one place he can ever speak privately.  Later that day, Fitz meets Jake at Olivia's apartment and hands him a copy of the tape.  Jake brings it back to OPA and Huck finds the reflection in the glass of water.  Olivia tells Ian that Fitz won't go to war and he bets her one dollar.  He says that Fitz will meet they're demands.  Olivia now knows that he's not in charge.
Some old lady named Rose comes in to OPA and asks for the black lady who's in charge.  She says that she'll be back tomorrow and leaves.  In the situation room, Andrew is basically telling Fitz what to do.  Cyrus tells Abby that he's out, but doesn't know why the VP is in.  After the 22nd time, Huck's facial recognition system still doesn't work.  He leaves to go talk to Lizzy Bear again, and he has his toolbox!  Mellie talks with Fitz on the balcony and wants to know what's wrong.  He says that he's going to kill Olivia Pope because he can't negotiate with terrorists.  She tells him that if he loves Olivia, then he knows what to do.  The next morning, he declares war and Abby, Cyrus (and Olivia) are flabbergasted.
Fitz asks Andrew for Olivia back.  He says that he can't giver her back yet because wars take time. Fitz comes to the realization that Olivia's not being released.  Rose comes back again and says that her friend is missing.  It's Olivia's neighbor from across the hall.  They go search the apartment and find the ring and know that she's there.  They also take the wireless router from the apartment and Huck finds the last person to log into the network.  It's Creepy Guy #1!  They look for any connection to the guy in the glass and they find Ian.  Fitz tells Cyrus to read a report on the war and he doesn't want to.  Fitz tells him again and he goes to read it.  Olivia is handed food and asks for beef stew and an orange creamsickle for desert--Her last dinner before she is shot in the head.  Ian tells her that he will have to kill her in three years, once Fitz's term is over, but she has to wait.
Huck tries to find Olivia's location, but the cell signal bounces off a bunch of places around the world.  There's no hope for finding her.  Lizzy Bear goes to talk to Mellie,  she tells her that she had nothing to do with Olivia's disappearance.  She shows Mellie all the stuff that Huck did to her back and it's pretty bad.  Mellie says that Andrew has to give Olivia back now so she doesn't need to worry.  Lizzy Bear knows better.  "He's just going to keep demanding and demanding until none of us have anything left to give."   Mellie goes into Andrew's office and asks him to give Olivia back.  She also asks him to choose between her and Lizzy Bear.  Cyrus opens the report and sees a note from Fitz, saying that they have Olivia.  Olivia asks Ian the first question she asks all of her clients... "What do you want?"  She thinks it's power, but she also inks it's wrong because he's in possession of Olivia Pope.  She proposes that they can sell her on the open market!  He could be the highest paid babysitter in the world or he could be the boss.
Cyrus Mellie and Fitz on the balcony, she says she's taken care of everything.  She gave Lizzy Bear Andrew's cell phone to give to OPA.  They find that Olivia has been in an abandon airport hangar in Pennsylvania this whole time. They get David to get a warrant for a "drug raid".  Jake lead the way through the hangar, the find the place, but nobody's there.  Fitz is in the situation watching footage from the war when he receives a call from Olivia.  They say hi and then Ian tells him that he's selling Olivia to the highest bidder.  Huck screen becomes alive with activity concerning Olivia, which is good because she's dropping bread crumbs for them.

It's 2nd Semester!
How to Get Away with Murder

Best Christmas Ever

Okay, so Sam's sister, Hannah spends the entire break at the Keating household whilst Annalise is gone.  An important thing to remember is that Annalise told her that she tried to cover up all of the evidence against Sam, and Hannah is probably convinced she's told her everything.  Asher tells Bonnie she hurt his feelings and Nate told Annalise that he told his wife about the two of them.  The biggest thing to remember here is that Sam's remains were found in a landfill.

This week was amazing, and It can only get better from here!  Now that you're caught up, don't miss TGIT tonight starting at 8/7c on ABC!

#TearsOfGreys

Grey's Anatomy

Where Do We Go From Here?
Derek quickly packs up and sees the sticky note above their bed with their vows.
Amelia has a fancy room with a bunch of screens all focused on Herman's tumor.  Jackson tells April about their baby and she freaks out and leaves crying and he slams stuff around the room.  Meredith puts Zola on her bed in Derek's spot.  She sees the sticky note, takes it down, and throws it in the trash.
Meredith is looking for a nanny and one of them is there interviewing when a trauma comes in.  Callie asks why she's looking for a nanny and is surprised that Derek is gone.  After the long day at work, the nanny is still there.  She asks Meredtih what she needs.  She needs support and someone who can be there for her kids when she's not.  Meredith goes home and calls Derek who's still at the airport.  His flight has been delayed all day and he asks if she wants him to come back.  She tells him to go and they'll figure this out.  They're going to make it work.  Their phone call gets cut off and she takes the sticky note out of the trash and hangs it back up.
When Amelia and Arizona are walking to Amelia's fancy room and find a very pissed Herman.  Amelia tells her that she can beat the tumor. Herman doesn't believe that there's any hope left after multiple attempts to get rid of the tumor.  Arizona is mad at Herman because she's wasting her shot that Jackson and April would take in an instant.  At the end of the day, Herman comes in and decides to talk.  Amelia makes her pitch to Herman and Owen.  She wants to know how far the tumor has to reach. She wants to wait until it reaches the limit that way everyone's happy.
The case of the week focuses on a mother who ran her kids and herself off a bridge.
Owen and Meredith do surgery on the mother.  She tells him that Derek's gone and he's surprised.  She tells him the story and then the tests come back showing the mother didn't have any drugs in her system. Owen asks if she talks to Cristina, but she says she's missed the past couple of calls because Cristina was right about Meredith and Derek. Meredith thinks that there's a tumor on the pancreas.  After a long hard search, Meredith finds the tumor.  Owen tells her later that it was better for Cristina to leave.
Bailey and Alex work on a case together.  There are two brothers who won't give up the names of their parents.  Bailey's job is to try to get the seven year old to crack while Alex does some surgical stuff on the teenager.  The seven year old is a brick wall, even for Bailey.  She finally gets him to give her his phone.
Jackson asks Owen to pull April out of surgery.  She talks to Jackson and she's not happy with him.  She decides that she's going to help in the E.R. today.  Jackson goes to get supplies and starts crying when Richard asks if he's okay.  Maggie asks about the sex of the baby when she works briefly with April, who is about to cry.  April pulls Edwards into a room and asks her why she didn't tell her about the baby's defect.  Edwards said she wanted to be sure first.  Jackson asks Arizona if she can talk to them about the baby when she gets a chance.  April finishes in the E.R. and she tells Jackson that she doesn't need to talk to Arizona.  When she talks bout the mother again Jackson tells her that she had the tumor on her pancreas.  April goes outside and wonders why God would do all of this, even if someone does something right.  Jackson says that if she needs anything he's there.

Will Olivia make it to the big red door?
Scandal

Run
We start when Jake comes over to Olivia's apartment and they dance and kiss and all the stuff from before but THIS TIME we see everything from Olivia's point of view as she is abducted.  But one more thing we see from Jake's point of view as he runs outside in his boxers and sees a car drive away and gets the plate number.  He calls Huck and tells him everything and that's all we see from someone else's point of view.
Olivia was take into the room across from her!  From behind the door we see a whole crew with surveillance cameras and everything.  Olivia secretly leaves a ring she had on under a rug.  When Jake leaves she yells for help through he duct tape at the door but the guy starts choking her. Once Jake's gone they shoot the dead lady's who owns the apartment.  In order to get her out, they cut off the head of the dead lady and put in on top of hers.  One of the guys, who we'll be calling Creepy Guy #1, tells her this is the time for her to negotiate.  She won't do it because he's not in charge.  They put a needle in her and knock her out
Olivia wakes up in some nasty holding cell, which is where she will stay for the rest of the episode.  She goes for the door, but it's locked.  She then discoverers the another guy in the cell.  They discuss about a noise, which he thinks is Islamic prayer.  Ian was writing a story in Egypt and was taken as well for a ransom of two million dollars.  She thinks that someone wants her here because she's in danger or for some other reason. She then calls for bathroom.  She asks Creepy Guy #1 for her ransom, but he doesn't tell her.  As they walk to the bathroom she checks the guy out and sees his keys and a gun.  Another guy from behind them opens the big red door, which they walk farther and farther away from.  She sees a car or two, but that's it.   The bathroom is DEsgusting and she does the ladylike thing and covers the seat with toilet paper.  When they leave she looks at the red door.  The next day Ian is eating food, he says that she should eat because it's all she has for the day and sometimes they forget or they're off to get someone else.  She asks him how long he's been there, if they're in the city, if there's a fence, or if there's any dangerous animals outside.  He says that he can't help her because he's been there a long time and that he's seen things.  She says that she can get into the city and get help if they get out but he just loses it.  He tells her that the guy before him was killed most likely because he was trying to run and that they have to stay.  She tells him that she's going to save them.  How? Because she's Olivia pope!  She starts eating with him and says it's not bad, but it's not good either.
He tells her his story.  He's a journalist whose wife (who was also a journalist) died.  He says he has dreams about army people coming in and killing Creepy Guys #1 and #2.  He asks why he's been checking her back the whole time for a tracking device.  He asks who she hopes put a tracking device in he besides her father, but she's silent.  He can't find the tracking device and she says that if she's missing that the president of the U.S. Is looking for her and that they'll find them.  Days pass as we see a montage of her being led to the bathroom.  During the time she last goes she just plops down on the toilet and discovers a window up high.  She gets the under wire from her bra to get the lock on the window open. When she opens it, the Creepy Guy #2 walks in.  They decide to punish her, but she says that they can't do anything to her.  Naturally, they decide to kill Ian she hears him screaming, a couple gun shots, and then a body drop. Creepy Guy #1 comes back with blood on his face telling her there's no way out.
Olivia lays on the floor and starts to dream.  First, she dreams about special forces coming in to get her and Jake carries her out.  She then wakes up in Vermont from that nightmare.  Fitz walk in the shower with her because she's threatening to use up all the hot water.  Fitz is being asked to throw the first pitch at a game.  Olivia tells him not to stress because he's the mayor and everyone loves him.  She opens the refrigerator and we see a whole line of jams from "White Hat Jams" on the top shelf.  He asks her what she's making for today, it's boysenberries.  He asks Tom if he's lucky.  When Fitz walks away, she tells Tom that he's not supposed to be there.  He says he's protecting Fitz from her.  She even asked him to come.  Olivia is walking the dog down the street as Abby walks with her.  She says that Olivia she didn't just choose this life.
"Where's Mellie? Where's Karen? Where's Teddy? Where are his kids?! Where's the press that I'm betting would be swarming you on a daily basis if the president went all Wallis Simpson on America?  Now you make jam for a living?  Do you know how to use a Dutch oven; do you even know home to turn on a regular oven?  What about Huck?  You leave Huck and get a dog and Huck's what?  In a pound somewhere?  Where's Jake? Do you love him?  Either him, Jake or Fitz?  It doesn't matter who you love, they can't help you!  There's no man who can rescue you.  You are the only gladiator in the place!  You have to rescue yourself!"
After Abby says this, she tells Olivia that she dropped some rusty ring that's on the ground.  Olivia says it's not hers.  Instantly, she's in her dream bathroom with the ring on the counter by the sink.  Tom tells her there's no way out of there and she slide the ring off.  Her food hits the floor and she wakes up.  She eats and then gets the under wire out of her bra again then asks for the bathroom.
Creepy Guy #2 takes her to the bathroom today.  When the door closes she goes to the window and discovers it's been filled in by bricks.  She holds her hands over her mouth and screams and cries.  She sits back against the wall and sees the ring.  She unscrews it and hides it in her sleeve.  He asks her if she likes it because he did it himself when he opens the door for her.  She hits him in the head multiple times, killing him. She grabs his keys and his gun and starts running for the door.  Creepy Guy #1 walks out in front of her and he says she doesn't have the heart to pull the trigger.  She shoots him and runs for the door, trying every key in every lock.  She gets free and runs out onto a sound stage.  Ian walks out and tells her that he told her there was no way out.  He says that he had to crack her by using her need to save everyone.  By doing this, he discovered that Fitz loves her. He says that this is just the beginning and they walk back in and he closes the red doors again.

Last, but certainly not least...
How to Get Away with Murder

Hello Raskolnikov
Annalise is questioned and stretched the truth really really far, but it was about half and half.  We see her tell Wes what to do at the night of the murder.  She said that he deserved to die because he killed Lila.  She got Wes into this and that she was going to get him out.
The four talk about what happens if someone cracks.  Annalise takes a minute to talk to Wes.  He wants to tell everyone including Rebecca about her involvement, but she says no.  They need to not know in order to protect herself.  All that they need is Sam's laptop to prove he was with Lila when she was killed.  Wes gives her Sam's ring which he took off the body before he burned it.  The DA comes to visit, and says that she's using Sam to help her win the case.
Wes is interrogated.  He says the last time he saw Sam was two days before and he didn't really notice him.  He also admits that Rebecca is his girlfriend, which is legal.  Annalise apologizes to Rebecca.  She didn't go to the cops earlier about Sam's affair.  She promises Rebecca that she'll get the charges dropped.  Later, Rebecca talks to Wes about it.  She then asks him why he's not freaking out.  He says he knows that if he acts paranoid, they get caught.  Everyone meets at the house again, they have three days to prove Sam killed Lila.  Laurel and Frank collect Sam's hair for and a test.  He wants a thank you for the trophy.  She says that they're over because he lied to her.  Connor talks to Oliver, who says he needs help for the drug problem.  Connor says he has exams this week and he'll do it after that.  Bonnie and Asher go to grab Sam's laptop.  He wants to talk about the last night, but she says he needs to forget about it. The laptop is being held by the DA because she knows it has evidence that weakens her case.  Rebecca says that Lila asked her about a birth control clinic.  Annalise goes to ask if she can get records from the clinic, but she's turned down.  Right after, she talks to Nate.  He thinks that she has something to do with Sam's disappearance, but she tells him that she came over because she needed him.
Laurel is questioned.  She says that Sam looked at her in a sexual way. That night, she asks Frank if he believes Annalise's story.  He says it's not her job to worry about it.  Bonnie tells Annalise that she can talk to her if she needs to.  Michaela comes in and says that the clinic has surveillance cameras and that they can use it because it's not privileged. The judge approves it!  As Annalise walks out, Frank has the DNA results. Sam was the father!  Annalise is relieved and Frank wonders why.  She decides to tell him about the murder, but says Bonnie can never know.
Asher is interrogated.  He talks about going to the house for the trophy and says that Connors SUV was parked in the driveway.  He talks about a lady friend, who ends up being questioned also.  She says they're not in a relationship, it's a one time thing.  She said Sam didn't correct her when she asked if he knew Lila was pregnant.  She also mentioned that he made a pass at her to keep her quiet.  She talks to Asher afterward and tells him that she was drunk and desperate.  They find Sam talking to Lila on the surveillance video.  They question the receptionist on the stand and she said Sam was angry that Lila didn't want to go through with the abortion. She asks for the laptop and the judge says she'll have a forensic expert analyze the phone data on the laptop.
Michaela is asked some questions.  They ask about Connor's car being parked at the Keating house.  She says that they walked from their house because of parking problems.  Connor convinces Michaela to go to the police with him. She says that she reinvented herself before and she can do it again. Connor says that they need Laurel as well.  Laurel talks to Frank, who is mad because she lied to him.  He says that she might even get away with it if she lies that good.  The forensic expert proves that Sam was at the Kappa Kappa Theta Sorority house at the same time of Lila's death.  The charges are dropped!  Annalise goes to have a moment in the bathroom.  A couple lady's walk in talking bad about her.  She then walks out of the stall and it's awkward.  When Connor and Michaela talk to Laurel, she says she's in.
Michaela, Connor, and Laurel go to the police station to confess.  Wes and Annalise show up to stop them.  Laurel told Wes that Frank knows and that the other two are going to confess.  Wes goes to Annalise after that, saying that they have to tell them.  She tells them to trust her and that she doesn't blame them.  She promises that if she helps them that they can get away with this.  On the day of the exam, Annalise has an interesting prompt, which relates to the night of murder.  The students have to figure out how to get all charges dropped from everyone and there is a way.
Connor is questioned.  He says that he's worried about Annalise.  He hopes that she's man enough to fix what he's done.  Connor calls Annalise the night of the exam, saying that Hannah Keating, Sam's sister is in town.

Too Many Problems...
Risk
First off, Meredith and Derek's argument over his job may have finally come to an end when he takes the job in D.C.
Amelia faces problems from her past.  She tells Owen her story about drugs and they start to bond.
Jo has finally confronted Alex about her problem with Meredith.  He says that his house is always open to those who need it and everything is okay with them now.
Bailey is still adapting to her new healthy lifestyle.  She also helps Richard out with Maggie and her advice works.
Callie is getting farther into her trials and ends up getting a soldier to try on a robotic leg by the end.
Arizona wants to know more about what's going on with Herman and her tumor.  Herman says it's inoperable, but Amy tells Arizona that she can remove it all and save her life.  Callie and Arizona both share a moment with each other where they act like things are normal and then reality comes right back.
April and Jackson's baby is very close to birth and Edwards sees something bad on the ultrasound.  Herman says its a rare birth defect that involves small, weak bones.  The baby doesn't survive for more than a couple weeks maximum.  Jackson walks in right after their conversation has ended and wants to know what's wrong.

Where on Earth is Olivia Pope? (AGAIN!)
Where the Sun Don't Shine

B613 is currently being shut down, and Mama Pope is found.  Olivia wants her father dead and she tries to use her for information, but she doesn't help at all.
Huck may be finally fixing up things with Kim.  Charlie gives him a bunch of B613 files for her to read, so we'll see how things go with that.
Photos of Cyrus and Michael get out and it's the big D.C. scandal everyone's talking about.  They end up getting engaged by the end because of a big push from Olivia.
Charlie and Quinn do adult things, and then she discovers he has her kill card and they fight.  Everyone's okay and they've made up again.
Rowan pays Olivia a visit and she shoots him with a gun, but it's not loaded. He's both shocked in a  bad way and leaves.
Huck and Quinn discover that Lizzy Bear and VP Andrew want a war with West Angola.
Fitz has decided not to go to war with West Angola.  Andrew goes to talk to Fitz in the Oval Office.  He basically tells Fitz that he should start the war with West Angola or else...
Jake visits Olivia and she tells them (while they're dancing around) that she's not choosing him or Fitz right now, just her.  They of course start preparing for adult things and Jake leaves the room.  25 seconds later, Olivia is gone!

 *Spoiler Alert* Sam is Killed!
Kill Me, Kill Me, Kill Me

Okay, obviously the first thing to remember is that Sam attacked Rebecca because she had information that proves he killed Lila.  He was killed shortly thereafter.  Whodunit?  It was Wes, by the staircase, with the trophy!
Bonnie was fired, but then she came back to work for Annalise the next day.  Oh yeah, she also (awkwardly) slept with Asher that night.
Michaela hands her mother in law her signed prenup and apologizes, promising that this kind of behavior won't happen again.  They also were never able to find her ring, so this could end up being their downfall, as well as the fact they didn't incinerate the body.
Connor tells Oliver (the tech guy) that he has a drug problem.  He gets called to the Keating residence before anything else can be explained.
Sam destroys Rebecca's flash drive with the evidence on it because now it ties them to the murder.  Rebecca remains at the motel as Wes goes to the Keating residence.
Everybody is called there to answer questions for the police because Sam is "missing".
Flashback to the night before... Wes goes back to get the trophy and tells Sam he's sorry. Annalise says "don't be".  That's right!  Annalise knows about the murder!

There you have it! TGIT IS BACK TONIGHT starting at
8/7c on ABC!  Watch tonight or hate yourself tomorrow! ;)
