Waiting on Wednseday ~ Tiger's Promise by Colleen Houck

"Waiting on Wednesday" is a weekly event hosted by
Jill at Breaking the Spine
that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating!

Tiger's Promise (The Tiger Saga, #0.5)
Tiger's Promise (The Tiger Saga 0.5)
by Colleen Houck
Trapped under the thumb of her abusive and powerful father Lokesh, Yesubai struggles to keep her own magical abilities secret while evading his dark powers. When Lokesh promises Yesubai to the prince of a neighboring kingdom, she becomes the central pawn in his plot to destroy the ruling family and take power for himself. Yesubai is trapped by her father’s threats and desperate to protect the man she comes to love, but she knows that any decision she makes will have dire consequences. As dark forces gather around her, Yesubai must decide if she’s willing to reveal that somewhere deep within her she has the power to change everything.

I am so excited for this book.  The Tigers Saga is one of my all time favorite series and this Novella is going to give us such great insight to the world that Yesubai lived in.

Publication Date for Tiger's Promise is
June 1, 2014

What are you waiting on this Wednesday?  Leave me your links so I can visit and see your picks as well.

    1. I know what you mean about the series commitment. Sometimes we don't want to get stuck in the middle of one we can't put down book after book! Thanks for stopping by!

  4. I read the first book in the series and I found it to be just a little too convenient because it seemed like whatever problems popped up they were immediately solved. Do I need to revisit the series and give the second book a try?

    4. I'll have to see if its at the library today and try the series again. :) I does help to know the later books are better than the first one. I didn't hate the first one but I wasn't incredibly connected to it either.
