THE SARCASTIC PALMTREE IS A
FEATURE THIS WEEK!
Welcome to Feature Follow Friday! This post is hosted by Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This feature is here for everyone to be able to get their blog some attention and get more followers as well as give my readers a little more fun at looking what I do for the weekly topic.
Since we are the feature this week, here is our feature interview:
When did you start blogging?
This week's Topic:
Spring Break. Where would be your favorite destination spot if you could join the Spring Break festivities?
Need I say more?
What a huge surprise that I want to hang out on a beach!
I am so excited that I got to be featured this week! Thank you to Alison Can Read and Parajunkee for hosting this fabulous feature each week as a way to get to know other bloggers better!
Make sure you leave me your links so I can visit you today to see where you're spring breakin' and also so I can give you a follow back!
Since we are the feature this week, here is our feature interview:
When did you start blogging?
I started blogging with
my son almost a year ago. We started in
July of 2013!
What is your favorite part of book blogging?
My favorite part of
book blogging is sharing something I love with other people. I was quite vocal in promoting the books and
authors I loved on social media. Becoming
a blogger was an excellent fit for me to do that and get the word out about the
books I love on a bigger scale.
What type of books do you mainly blog about?
I mainly blog about
any type of YA, Fantasy, Contemporary, Sci-fi, Dystopian you name it. Occasionally I have a little bit of New Adult
as well.
What is your favorite book(s)?
I owe a lot to the
Twilight series because it is the one that turned me into a reader. When I think of my current favorites, the
first one to come to mind was my favorite read of last year, “Chasing Forever
Down” by Nikki Godwin. I wonder if I
ever would have found that book without being on a book tour for Nikki so I owe
that fantastic discovery to my blogging.
Other favorites would include Tiger’s Curse by Colleen Houck, Fablehaven
by Brandon Mull, and anything by Richard Paul Evans or Katie McGarry.
What has been the best thing that has happened to you because of
book blogging?
The absolute best
thing was the one that was least expected and that was the relationships I have
because of blogging. I assumed that the
blogging community would have been a lot more competitive. Instead, I have
found helpful, enthusiastic book lovers and authors that I have made lifelong friendships
with and I look forward to making more blogger friends in the future. This week's Topic:

Congrats on being featured this week! I love that Twilight made you a reader - it made me a different kind of reader by allowing me to break into genres outside of literary fiction. :) Happy Friday!!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much! I'm so excited to be the feature this week! I always like to hear about others that appreciate Twilight for getting people to read in one way or another. I am doing a re-read this month. It has been super fun! Thanks for stopping by!
DeleteCongrats on your feature!! The beach is where I'd love to hang out, too, especially after it snowed again here on Tuesday! New follower by Bloglovin' and email. :)

I love beaches! I wish I could go there every spring break but usually have to wait for summer to roll around. Thanks so much for stopping by and for the follow. Have a great weekend!
DeleteCongrats on being featured this week! I'm a redhead who burns horribly, so I tend to not be so favorable to sunny climes, but that beach certainly does look peaceful.
ReplyDeleteYou can find my FF post HERE.
I burn as well and have to be careful but I'm content sitting in the shade and watching and listening to the water while reading. That's all I need to be happy on vacation! Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great weekend!
DeleteJust wanted to say Happy Friday and congrats on being the feature!! old follower

I do it more than he does since he's in school but he pops up from time to time as well as my other kids. :) Beaches are always appealing but after the winter everyone just had I think it sounds even better! Thanks for stopping by today Whitney! I hope you have a great weekend.
DeleteFollowing back Google+
ReplyDeleteI wasn't much of a beach person but I like them now. Though I rather go early morning and late afternoon. I can't do the whole just sit in the sun and bake thing.
Worth Reading It?
I hear you there! My favorite beach time is in the evening when it cools down and you can just relax without being too hot. Thanks for following back! Have a great week!
DeleteCongrats on being featured this week, Kristalyn :) Twilight brought me back to my love of all things literary, too, and I just needed to find more people to chat about books with - a while after, my very own blog was born as well.
